Contract translation services
Contracts translated clause by clause, meaning intact.
In a contract, one shifted word changes an obligation. Legal translators review every clause, and defined terms stay consistent from the first page to the last.
When you need it
The deal does not wait for the translation.
Foreign-language agreements arrive in the middle of a transaction, often as part of a larger set where the same defined terms appear in a dozen documents. A term translated two different ways across two documents creates an argument that did not exist in the original.
We work across the set rather than document by document, so a defined term rendered one way in the share purchase agreement is rendered the same way in the disclosure letter.

How it works
One terminology decision, applied across the whole set
-
Send the document
With the languages, the deadline, and whether it is going on record. Tell us if a certification is needed.
-
AI built for legal language prepares the draft
Trained on legal language, so defined terms, citations and structure survive the first pass intact.
-
A legal translator reviews every line
Against the source, for meaning, terminology and omissions. Never skipped, whatever the deadline.
-
Delivery, then deletion
You receive the translation in the format you need, with an affidavit or certification if required. Files are deleted after delivery.

What holds a contract together in translation
Defined terms
Defined terms are extracted first and fixed before translation begins, so they read identically in every document in the set.
Clause-level review
A legal translator reads every clause against the source. Obligations, conditions and carve-outs are checked as language, not as prose.
Numbers and references
Dates, amounts, cross-references and party names are verified separately from the body text.
Both directions
Foreign-language agreements into English, and Indian-language or English documents into the counterparty's language.
Common questions
Before you send the first file
How do you keep defined terms consistent across a document set?
We extract the defined terms from the governing document first and fix how each one will be rendered before translation begins. Every document in the set is then translated against that list, and the reviewing legal translator checks it.
Can you work on a document set rather than a single contract?
Yes. That is the usual case. Send the set together and tell us which document governs, so terminology is set from the right place.
Will the translation be reviewed by someone with legal background?
Yes. Every translation is reviewed by a legal translator. Our AI is built specifically for legal language and prepares the draft, but the final text is a legal translator's responsibility.
Can you translate from English into a counterparty's language?
Yes. We work in both directions, in all Indian languages and major foreign languages.
What if a term has no clean equivalent in the target language?
The reviewing translator flags it and we tell you, rather than quietly choosing. On request we return the translation with a short note on the terms where the source and target systems do not map onto each other.
Send the agreement and the deadline.
Tell us which document governs the set, and we will confirm a quote and delivery time quickly.
