Confidentiality and process
Your client's documents, handled with discretion.
Partners and risk teams read this page before a firm sends its first file. It sets out how a document moves through the work, who sees it, and what happens to it afterwards.
How a document moves through Kalakrit
Six steps, from received to deleted
Received
Through the quote form, by email, or by a secure link if you ask for one before sharing.
Prepared using our AI built for legal language
A first draft, with defined terms, citations and structure preserved.
Reviewed line by line by a legal translator
Against the source, for meaning, terminology and omissions. This step is never skipped.
Affidavit or certification added if required
A sworn affidavit of accuracy for Indian court filings, or the certification route the receiving authority requires.
Delivered
In the format you need, to the people you nominate.
Files deleted
After delivery.
Who sees your documents
Only the people working on the job. Documents are not circulated beyond the team handling the matter.
Confidentiality agreements
We are happy to sign your firm's confidentiality agreement before you share documents. Ask for it before the first upload and we will deal with it first.
After delivery
Files are deleted after delivery.
Where the AI sits
Our AI is built for legal language and prepares the draft. That layer uses outside language models, so we do not tell firms that documents never leave our systems. A legal translator reviews every line and is responsible for the final text.
What we will not claim
Risk teams are used to being told what they want to hear.
We do not publish server locations, encryption standards or security certifications, and we do not say that nothing leaves our systems, because the AI layer we build on means that would not be accurate.
We also do not discuss any client's matters, documents or volumes, including with other clients.
If your risk team needs something specific in writing before instructing us, ask, and we will answer plainly or say that we cannot.
Common questions
What risk teams ask
Who has access to our documents?
Access is limited to the people working on the job. We do not circulate documents beyond the team handling the matter.
Will you sign our firm's confidentiality agreement?
We are happy to sign your firm's confidentiality agreement before you share documents. Send it with the first instruction, or ask for it before you upload anything.
What happens to files after delivery?
Files are deleted after delivery.
Is the AI part of this a risk to confidentiality?
Our AI is built for legal language and prepares the draft, and that layer uses outside language models rather than running entirely on our own systems. We say so plainly rather than claiming that nothing leaves our systems, because that would not be true.
Can you describe your security setup?
We do not publish details of server locations, encryption standards or certifications. What we will tell you is how a document moves through the work, who touches it, and what happens to it afterwards, which is set out on this page.
Ask for the confidentiality agreement first.
If your firm needs its agreement signed before any document is shared, say so and we will deal with that before anything else.
